Education

Peter Hunn studied Law at the University of Cambridge and Commercial Law at the University of Bristol, where he received a Distinction.

Professional Appointments

Peter is a recognised authority at the intersection of law and technology. He studied law at Bristol and Cambridge Universities. After founding and exiting a legal technology company to DocuSign, he worked as a lawyer and advisor to the Law Commission of England and Wales on its smart contracts, digital assets, and decentralised autonomous organisations projects. Throughout this time, Peter has been a member of the UK Jurisdiction Taskforce chaired by Sir Geoffrey Vos.

Research Areas

Peter has co-edited the leading academic text on smart legal contracts and is currently co-editing a handbook on digital assets (forthcoming), both with Oxford University Press.
