Education
Drew Hasson received his Master's in International Policy—focusing on digital technologies—from Stanford University. He previously studied International Relations and Asian Area Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. He served as a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia and speaks Japanese and Malay.
Professional Appointments
Drew Hasson has led market entry and regulatory strategies across Asia for some of the world’s most innovative telecommunication companies. At SpaceX, he secured Starlink's market access permissions in Bhutan, Timor-Leste, and South Korea. And at Meta before that, he supported the regulatory rollout of Meta's fiber deployments in Indonesia, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. He has served in leadership roles at the US-ASEAN Business Council and The Asia Foundation.
